Heisei Fuuzoku Debuts at #1

On its first day of release, Heisei Fuuzoku debuted at number one in sales according to Oricon. Although initial speculation about the album was negative, recent reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. Amazon.co.jp, which had an average review rating of 2 out of 5 stars, now has over 15 reviews with 5 out of 5 stars. Did Shiina Ringo break sales again? We shall see when the week ending numbers are released. The Ringohan DVD also ranked high, debuting at #2 in charts.

As well, there is a gigantic list of upcoming promotion listed on her website that includes upcoming TV spots, magazines and websites. Most noticably, SR will be on Bokura no Ongaku on Feb.23rd, 2007 with Ichiro. She will perform Karisome Otome, Gamble and Sakuran with a 60+ group orchestra. Below is a complete list:
